A Goodnight Kiss

The Valentine’s Day Dinner is planned but what about that goodnight kiss? Prepare a romantically whimsical ending to the evening with A Goodnight Kiss Champagne Cocktail. Not just for Valentine’s Day though, this drink is perfect for any enchanting occasion.

Recipe:
Sparkling Wine or Champagne
1 splash Campari
1 Sugar Cube
1 drop Angostura Bitters

Directions:
1. Place a drop of Angostura Bitters on a sugar cube and drop into a champagne flute. Add a splash of Campari and fill glass with champagne. Serve immediately.

Berry Wildberry Punch

FEATURING Island Mist Wildberry Shiraz

Juicy, fruit forward flavours of Shiraz and wild field berries dance on the palate. Serve with burgers off the barbecue.

1 bottle of Island Mist Wildberry Shiraz
1/2 cup Triple Sec
1/2 cup raspberry flavoured vodka
1 cup of mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup cranberry juice

Combine all ingredients in a pitcher, add ice, stir and serve in tumblers.

1 bottle of Island Mist Blackberry Cabernet
1 cup lemon flavoured Vodka
Juice of one lemon and one lime
1 cup soda water
1/2 cup blackberries

Pour all ingredients into a large pitcher with ice. Pour into tumblers and garnish with floating blackberries and thinly sliced lemons and limes.

Champagne Mint Julep

The Mint Julep is a Southern drink most notable for its popularity at the Kentucky Derby. Champagne is also a traditional Derby drink so it’s no surprise that the two combined into the refreshing Champagne Mint Julep. While the Derby may have come and gone, there’s no need to wait for any special occasion. The Champagne Mint Julep is refreshing on any day.

Recipe: 

4 oz champagne or sparkling wine

2 oz bourbon

1 teaspoon sugar

6 sprigs fresh mint

Directions:

Combine 4 mint leaves with the sugar and a few drops of water, and muddle well. Add the bourbon, and stir well. Strain into a collins glass, add ice cubes and the champagne. Garnish with 2 mint leaves, and serve.
