Leslie Webb (favourite wines: Napa Valley Stag’s Leap District Merlot; Italian Piedmont Barolo; German Mosel Valley Gewürztraminer)
Leslie’s background includes 20 years in project management, dealing with multi-million dollar contracts with such clients as Prince Rupert Grain, Alberta Wheat Pool, Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, Froedert Malt, Canada Malting, Vancouver Wharves and more. These achievements prepared Leslie well for the challenges of running her own business. Since 2001, she has co-owned and managed Just Fine Wine. Taking control of a business that was on a downward trend and completely turning it around is Leslie’s proudest professional accomplishment to date. Les has a great knack for matching people up with wine and making friends with everyone who comes through the door.
Doug Webb (favourite wines: Napa Valley Stag’s Leap District Merlot; Luna Rossa; Italian Pinot Grigio)
Not only does he have a 30-year background as a Print Shop Foreman under his belt, Doug also has a long line of experience in small business. Owner and operator of Burnaby Video Shop, he was one of the local pioneers in the early days of home video rental. In 2001, he became co-owner and manager of Just Fine Wine. Doug has also served as Master Vintner over that period and is trying to spend a little bit more time as Master Golfer these days.
Jamie Webb (favourite wines: Italian Amarone; Luna Rossa; Symphony)
A graduate of Simon Fraser University’s Communication program, Jamie spent over ten years in the broadcasting industry working for the likes of 97KISS FM, CKWX News1130, Vancouver Television and CTV. While pitching in and helping out at the shop over the years, Jamie became a full-time partner with Just Fine Wine in April 2008. He looks forward to working with Doug & Les to continue to make Just Fine Wine the best winemaking experience for all of their clients/friends.
